What People are Saying About BIG Feelings
Anna D.
“Beautifully written and illustrated, “BIG Feelings”teaches little ones to describe and name their emotions. It normalizes the experience of being overwhelmed by big feelings and explains in a simple language why these feelings are important and how they can help to guide our behavior. My seven-year-old, who finds it challenging sometimes to manage his emotions, especially frustration, greatly enjoyed reading along and talking about ways to manage his feelings after finishing the book. It was a great conversation starter inspiring a heartfelt discussion after. This book is certainly a find to any mom trying help their child through big feelings. "

As a parent of three grown children, each of whom experienced ADHD in their own unique way, I can confidently say they would have absolutely loved this book! It's so important for children to understand why they feel the way they do and to learn how to navigate those emotions. Equally important is creating an environment where adults offer support and provide safe spaces for children to express their feelings without judgment or stigma. This book does a wonderful job of helping both parents and children better understand the emotions tied to ADHD and childhood in general. The expressive artwork beautifully captures these feelings. Thank you for creating such a valuable resource!

“This book is amazing. As a mom of a neurodivergent child, the words and illustrations resonate with the non stop challenges of big feelings that my child experiences daily. Your book provides a platform, for not only my child’s understanding, but a way for me to discuss the positive side of big feelings. Children and parents will enjoy, and benefit from, reading this book together."
